Hotel Belvedere

I went to the spa with a friend. I love that the thermal pools are indoors (when it’s cold outside). The sauna is hot and the relaxing room is cool. The only negative is that the cold plunge pool needs to be better lit. I felt a bit disoriented initially going down the steps into the darkness. Otherwise the staff are friendly, it’s clean and I will definitely go back. I highly recommend this experience.

Excellent characterful new boutique hotel in Kingston, combining historic charm with renovated, nicely detailed/furnished rooms. Steps away from the restaurants, whilst being on a quieter stretch of King street.

Karina was skillfully working the reception at The Belvedere and The Smith when we returned quite late. Well-done! The room was impeccable, spacious and beautifully decorated. The air conditioning was welcome since it was so hot. Breakfast wasn’t included - might have been a nice touch - but the dining room looked elegant and if we had had more time we would have enjoyed the patio too. It’s under a ten-minute walk to downtown and easy to access from the highway. A parking pass was given to us and we parked one block away - easy and convenient :) Overall a beautifully-succeeded renovation and we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Belvedere Hotel in Kingston. The service was truly excellent—every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to help. Their attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The hotel itself is newly renovated and very charming, with a stylish, modern feel. While a few amenities were still being rolled out (such as the spa) and our room was missing a couple of practical touches—like a dedicated spot for luggage, storage, or a kettle for tea—the exceptional customer service more than made up for it. The location is another highlight: very central, walkable, and easy to access everything Kingston has to offer. Overall, a great experience and one we’d happily repeat!
